I enjoyed the article: When you don’t want to be Facebook friends. It covers many awkward situations, like friend requests from people that are not your friends or high school memories coming to find you. There are even some groundrules for etiquette and how to handle these situations.
What my male colleagues could learn from me is a fun read, but it’s a two-way street. Earlier in the month, The Next Women posted: What I learnt from my male colleagues.

One of the greatest problems in women in tech, stems from the fact that the men don`t take us seriously and really don`t like a woman that knows as much or more that a man. It dosen`t matter how liberal our society is, there is still a great barrier. Take for instance some of my posts on forum and IS. I have had some intellectual points to debate with the men. Some of the time , my posts are either ignored or scoffed at. The average woman dosen`t like that and tends to quit posting or trying for the tech jobs. How many women do you see posting and debating on IS?
The next major point is the pay. A lot of places in this country will not pay a woman the same as a man.
